Description

Kong Interstellar Security Solutions is a rag-tag group of hooligans, miscreants, sexual deviants, and hackers on steroids, siphoned mostly from the /vg/ and /tg/ boards of 4chan.org. It has almost no formal organization, and is held together solely by common internet origins and a single Ventrilo server.

Unit History

Kong Interstellar Security Solutions is the impromptu on-site security force and mercenary corp for Kong Interstellar Corporation and its subsidiaries.

After the destruction of its orbital manufacturing plants over Connaught during the Succession Wars, the Executives of Kong scrambled to protect what remained of the company's holdings. Fragile and uncertain, Kong simply could not rely solely on the defense provided by The Free Worlds League, leading it to drop untold billions into private defense, ending in the creation of the first Kong security branch. In 3049, Norris Packard, a former entrepreneur and novice MechWarrior, was hired to manage the accrual of combat assets for Kong's Connaught security division after the sudden resignation of its previous title holder. With the manufacturing branch on the verge of regaining fabrication capability, Packard was left almost completely unsupervised, and in the course of a year the entire security division was transformed into a Mercenary Corp. Thus, Kong Interstellar Security Solutions was born.

With members drawn from literally anywhere that could be grasped, Security Solutions' ranks quickly swelled with warriors unfit for standard military forces, leading to the establishment of a highly informal command hierarchy, and a vicious improvised combat strategy. This anarchic structure shepherded by Norris' frugal management style somehow stumbled upon magic, and Kong quickly made a name for itself among Inner Sphere Mercenary groups as unpredictable, borderline suicidal, and strangely effective.

Unit Structure

Groups are mostly random pickups, taken from whoever is in the Kong Ventrilo server at the time. 8 man drops are a tad more selective due to the higher level of challenge, and are often formed of several veteran members, led by a single "warboss".
