The Admin noticeboard is one way through which users can notify administrators of issues needing administrative attention. While users are welcome to directly contact specific administrators (especially if they are seen to be active), posting here can be an easier and quicker way of ensuring that at least one admin will notice an issue and respond to it promptly. Remember to sign (using four tildes: ~~~~) when posting an issue.
Before posting an issue here, please consider the following:
- This page is for reporting wiki issues. Please post discussions on the talk page.
- Post only issues that require administrative action, i.e. blocking vandals, protecting pages, restoring deleted pages etc.
- Do not post deletion requests here. Deletion requests should be made by adding
{{delete}}to the top of the target page, which will then automatically mark the page as a candidate for deletion. - Do not post issues regarding content disputes. Try making a request for comment instead.
- Mediation requests between users should only be made once a resolution could not be reached between users.
- For issues regarding the use of this wiki, please see our help center.
In case of vandalism, posting about it here is low priority. Revert it first, anyone can do so. If the vandal created a new page, tag it for deletion. Assume good faith and consider leaving a message on that user's talk page to explain the reason. Post here only if the user has made several disruptive edits and/or persists despite a warning. Always avoid a revert war with the vandal; it is far better to wait until an admin has a chance to intervene. If a user must be reported here, please use {{user}}, preferably as the topic subject/headline.
Current Issues
Consumables and Pilot Tree
Some of the information for the consumable modules, specifically the UAVs and strikes, are somewhat lacking or incorrect. Also, the links for some of the improvements to the consumables, the Improved UAV for instance, link to the Pilot Tree section of the wiki, but there is no information on that specific upgrade.--ZMustang (talk) 19:13, 29 April 2014 (UTC)
Mech Lab Links for Champion Mechs
Is there a way to make the "{{Online Mech Lab}}" link to the regular variant when looking at Champion Mechs? For example, to CPLT-A1 instead of CPLT-A1(C)? --Trifler500 (talk) 03:27, 10 May 2014 (UTC)
- When editing the {{Infoboxmodel}} section of the Catapult CPLT-A1 or Catapult CPLT-A1(C) page, the page that it links to on Smurfy depends on the "|id=#" entered. An ID number of 13 will link the page to the standard CPLT-A1, while "|id=91" will link it to the CPLT-A1(C) page. --AdamV2 (talk) 00:47, 13 May 2014 (UTC)

- MechSpecs uses their own numbering system for their forums that doesn't follow the ID numbers in the game files. That means that the discussion link requires an extra step to link to the correct discussion forum. So to fix it so that champion Mechs (or any Mechs who's link doesn't work for that matter) you would edit the Template:External Links page. In the list of Mechs, you'll see that they CPLT-A1 already links to forum number 59 "|CPLT-A1=59". To link the champion version, you would add the line "|CPLT-A1(C)=59" to the list. --AdamV2 (talk) 23:19, 13 May 2014 (UTC)

Clan Mechs and Equipment

- I've now laid the groundwork. I added the Kit Fox, Nova, and Summoner so far and short articles on Clans and OmniMechs for supporting information. I also standardized the way Founder, Phoenix, and Revival 'mechs are referenced. The main thing now, apart from adding the rest of the 'mechs, is adding the Clan weaponry. We should add them to the existing articles rather than create new articles for them (i.e. add C-Small Pulse Laser to the existing Small Pulse Laser page). --Trifler500 (talk) 03:20, 20 August 2014 (UTC)

"further results..." Broken
